Delivery is not included in the price.  We work with multiple moving companies and deliver safes ourselves, but first we gather information about the delivery to establish a fair price.  Details like address, where in the building the safe will go, how many stairs, and type of flooring will all be taken into consideration.

Although we sell safes and change hundreds of safe combinations, we do not keep any safe combinations on file at Bonded Lock.  That being said, the manufacturer of your safe likely does have the combination or recovery code on record under your safe’s serial number.  Liberty safe has an online form you can complete if you do not wish them to retain your combo. 

At this time we only sell brand new safes, so we do not take trade in safes or used safes.

Most likely yes.  If your safe is in any area with humidity or temperature fluctuation it is imperative you have a dehumidifier to prevent rust and corrosion.  We carry many different dehumidifier options in our showroom. Find more information about humidifiers by clicking here.

We replace lost car keys every day.  In order to get a replacement key you will need a valid driver's license, proof of ownership (preferably the vehicle title), and a few more details about the car such as license plate number and color.  With that information call us at (218) 751-8084.

Sometimes. Nearly all cars now have a transponder chip in the key.  This needs to be programmed to the car before it will start.  Most of the time this requires one of our technicians to be at the vehicle to connect diagnostic equipment to program the key.  Sometimes, however, the customer is able to onboard program the key without diagnostic equipment.  Our technician will be able to advise you of costs and procedure after knowing the year, make, and model of the vehicle.

No, our technicians are highly trained and most of the time we unlock the car without using door or window tools.  If our technician has concerns about vehicle damage, we can create a key to open the door instead of risking damage. 

We do not install auto-start systems, but can recommend other local vendors for that service.  We do sell and program OEM remotes, many of which include auto start.

If your insurance company covers locksmith services you can submit the receipt to them for reimbursement, but we do not directly bill any insurance companies.

With new locks - absolutely! With existing locks - sometimes. If your locks are made by different brands or are of different types, it may not be possible.  You can test by inserting the desired key into the lock to be changed, if it goes in all the way then there is a very good chance we can match the existing lock. 

Rekeying should be done if you move into a new location or if all keys for a lock cannot be accounted for.  High-security locks are a good option to limit the need of rekeying because they use secured keyways that eliminate unauthorized duplication of keys.

Usually yes, however, we complete an authorization form and take a copy of your drivers license.  If the key is restricted, patented, or high security then we can only make duplicates for people that are listed on the signature card for that key.  Because “do not duplicate” is not legally binding, we recommend customers use patented keys that cannot be duplicated by unauthorized individuals.
